Baked Curry Wings - 5x5 Recipes - Simple dishes with less than 5 ingredients or steps

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with foil. Fold up the sides to create a "wall" to catch any liquids and sauces. This will also allow you to skip an additional bowl for the next step.
  2. In your newly lined baking tray, toss your chicken wings liberally in Curry Karma sauce.
  3. Roast for roughly 30 minutes. During this time, the wings will sweat out some of their water content. After this initial 30 minutes, pull out the tray and add another liberal layer of Curry Karma sauce. Toss with tongs.
  4. Roast for another 10 minutes or until a desired level of "saucy stickiness" forms.
  5. Enjoy!

Commentary

This is a very simple and nearly hands-off approach to fall-of-the-bone tender, saucy, relatively healthy wings. No special equipment needed. No deep fryer. No air fryer. No Instant Pot. Just wings, sauce, and an oven. We love the end result of the Curry Karma sauce.

A large pack of wings at the grocery store, Costco, or Sam's club can make roughly 40 wings (separated) for about $10-15. Batch these ups and then reheat during the week. Much cheaper and a better quality leftover than expensive deep-fried wings from the restaurant!
